Terms of use
Last updated 28 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of Ironwright (“we”) for using Ironwright, a strength-training log and planner. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Who can use it
- You must be 18 or older. The app asks you to confirm this when you sign up.
- You must give true information and keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
A preview service
Ironwright is an early preview. It is free while we build it. Features can change, break or go away, and we may reset or end the preview with notice where we reasonably can. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Not medical advice
The app gives general strength-training suggestions. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, treatment, physical therapy or a substitute for a doctor or other qualified professional. It cannot examine you and does not know your full health history. Its injury and pain features adjust workouts around what you tell it; they do not tell you whether you are safe to train.
- See a doctor before you start a new training programme, and especially if you are pregnant, are recovering from injury or surgery, or have a heart, blood-pressure, joint or other health condition.
- Stop and get medical help if you feel sharp or worsening pain, chest pain, dizziness, numbness, or anything else that worries you. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
- Never ignore professional advice because of something the app suggested.
You train at your own risk
Lifting weights carries a real risk of injury, including serious injury. You decide whether and how to do each exercise, how much weight to use, and when to stop. The app’s targets, plans and suggestions are starting points, may be wrong for you, and you can always choose differently. You accept the risks of training to the fullest extent the law allows.
Your content
Your workouts, notes and other things you put in the app stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only so we can run the app for you, as the privacy policy describes. Only paste material you have the right to use. Imported workouts from other people’s videos or articles are for your own training, not for republishing.
AI features
Some features use an AI service to read text you submit, such as a pasted workout. AI can misread things. Always check the draft it makes before you save or follow it. Do not put health details into these features; the privacy policy explains what is sent and to whom.
What you may not do
- Break the law, or use the app to harm or harass anyone.
- Try to get into other people’s accounts or data, probe or attack the service, or overload it.
- Scrape, copy or resell the app, or reverse-engineer it except where the law lets you.
- Use automated tools to create accounts or submit content.
Ending your account
You can stop at any time and delete your account and its data yourself: Settings, then Delete my account (or see how to delete). Deleting cannot be undone. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.
No promises about the service
To the fullest extent the law allows, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including that it will be accurate, safe for you, uninterrupted or free of errors, or fit for a particular purpose.
Limit on our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or for lost data, lost profits or injury that comes from your training decisions. Our total liability for anything arising from the app is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (nothing, for a free account) and USD 100.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, and it does not take away rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operator is based, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters we will update the date at the top and tell you, in the app or by email, before it takes effect. If you keep using the app after that, you accept the new terms; if you do not agree, delete your account.
